Sustainability Advisory Group (SAGroup) is a Private Limited Company registered in Ethiopia. SAGroup advises government, nongovernmental organizations, development partners and the private sector on sustainability and resiliency. SAGroup was founded by Managing Partner Dr. Araya Asfaw.

SAGroup’s core competencies are sustainability, resilience, project coordination and management, and donor relations. SAGroup works closely with project partners to design and implement impactful and effective development projects that meet one or more of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By focusing on the SDGs, SAGroup is able to bring together actors from multiple sectors to create long-term solutions to common problems.

Before founding SAGroup, Dr. Asfaw initiated the Horn of Africa Regional Environment Centre and Network (HoAREC&N) a unique network of higher learning institutions, endogenous civil society and community-based organizations in Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan and Kenya.
